Terms and Conditons

Payment & Application Form

All payments are made using the secure WorldPay payment gateway. When you click 'Book Now' you will be passed to a secure Worldpay hosted payment page where you enter your card payment details. When payment is authorised you will be returned to the NLSSM website and our Course Application Form. You must complete this application form in order to formally register your placement on our course after payment has been made. Providing some details about yourself, registration will enable you to confirm your chosen course, your preferred date/s and details of relevant experience and /or qualifications.

Application

Applicants must be 21 years or over (18-21 years of age will be subject to an interview). Applicants must hold a basic qualification in massage, or attend an Introductory course before the Diploma course begins. An application is not complete until the NLSSM The Sports Massage School have confirmed that the place is available and the applicant has made a payment. The NLSSM has the right to refuse an application.

Delivery of Course Materials

Course details will be provided by email only after receipt of minimum course deposit or full payment and submission of the appropriate application form.


Introductory Workshop - Terms and Conditions

1. Application and Payment

(i) All bookings must be submitted via the Application Form

(ii) The deposit of £75 is non-refundable and non-transferable.

(iii) Discounts are only valid in accordance with instructions in the prospectus or specific campaigns.

(iv) If an organisation is willing to pay a student's fees it must be made in full and accompanied by the application form at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Bookings cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received from the organization.

(v) Please note we do not make provisional bookings. In order to secure your booking payment must be received by the office before your application will be processed. Bookings are processed on a first come first serve basis.

2. Personal Health

(i) At the time of enrolment, to your knowledge, you should have no health condition that could be affected or worsened by the requirements of the course for which you are applying, nor should you be awaiting hospital admission or taking medication that could be contraindicated. If in doubt in any aspect please check with your GP. The School cannot refund fees should you have to terminate the course due to a known health condition becoming worse or a hospital place becoming available.

3. Cancellation

(i) If you have to cancel or terminate due to bereavement of a close family member, or serious ill-health (unknown at the commencement of the course), a doctor's certificate of inability to continue will be required. Sometimes, under exceptional circumstances it is possible to transfer to the next course subject to an additional administration cost of £25 and terms of agreement & conditions.

(ii) Full payment must be made if cancellation is made within two weeks of the commencement date. If a cancellation is made two weeks prior all monies will be refunded minus the deposit. All Introduction courses carry a £75.00 deposit fee.

(iii) In the event of the School canceling a course, all monies paid (including the will be repaid in full.


Diploma & Bridging Program - Terms and Conditions

1. Application and Payment

(iii) Discounts are only valid in accordance with instructions in the prospectus or specific campaigns

(iv) If an organisation is willing to pay a student's fees it must be made in full and accompanied by the application form at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Bookings cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received from the organization.

(v) Please note we do not make provisional bookings. In order to secure your booking payment must be received by the office before your application will be processed. Bookings are processed on a first come first serve basis.

(ii) If cancellation is made within 14 calendar days of the commencement date the full deposit of £500.00 will be retained and there will be no refund available. If a cancellation is made two weeks prior to the commencement date £300.00 of the deposit monies will be retained and the balance of £200.00 will be refunded.

(iii) In the event of the course fee having been paid in full and notice of cancellation is received at least 14 calendar days prior to the commencement date, the school will retain the sum of £300.00 and refund all other monies paid to the School . If less than 14 calendar days notice of cancellation is given the School will retain the full deposit of £500.00 and refund all other monies paid to the School.

(iiii) In the event of cancellation once the course has commenced the School will make no refund of any monies paid and the student remains liable for full payment of the course fee.

(iv) In the event of the School cancelling a course all monies received (including the deposit) will be repaid.

Intellectual Property

"NLSSM The Sports Massage School" and "NLSSM" are trade marks. You do not have any right to use these marks unless we specifically consent to you doing so. All written materials supplied by us to you shall be belong to us until payment in full has been received. If we provide you access to any online subscription materials, you acknowledge that such access is granted to you solely as a licensee. This licence will terminate on completion of your course or cancellation, whichever is the earlier. All course materials and any online subscriptions are provided solely for your personal use in connection with your course. You may not copy, reproduce or modify any such materials, nor permit any third party access to them.
