Natasha Goldstein-Opasiak

Natasha’s journey with massage has been a constant thread throughout her life, enabling her to explore movement, build strength, and share her knowledge and love for anatomy and biomechanics. In 2018, she joined NLSSM to advance her skills and pivot her career. Formerly a dancer sidelined by an untreated injury and stuck in a 9-to-5 office job, Natasha decided to take control and help other vulnerable performers get the care she never received.
After graduating, she established a successful freelance practice as a Soft Tissue Therapist, setting up a home clinic and joining the Physical Support Team at London Contemporary Dance School. Her expertise soon took her to the West End, where she worked on several major shows, and provided support for Neuro Tour.
In 2021, Natasha became the Healthcare Coordinator for the Royal Ballet while maintaining her freelance business. She held this position until 2023, when she transitioned to her current role as Health Clinic Manager at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she works closely with students and faculty members across the institution to help track and manage injury cases.
Natasha also serves as the Module Leader for the BSc Dance Science programme’s Injury in Dance Module. Natasha has since established a placement opportunity at Trinity Laban Health for NLSSM students.
Natasha has gone on to earn an MA in Professional Arts Practice from Middlesex University, with her research centred on the importance of integrating somatic practices into vocational dance training, this continues to inspire her work both in and out of the studio today. Passionate about helping students understand their own bodies, Natasha focuses on improving proprioception and exploring the natural rhythms that guide movement, ensuring that her practice remains dynamic and deeply informed.
